Four CIS athletes enjoyed a great sports challenge as they participated in the Singapore Aquathlon 2015 on Saturday, 5 September at Angsana Green, East Coast Park. The natural environment of East Coast Park was utilised for the course, with athletes swimming in a roped off section of the ocean, and running along East Coast Park’s shady paths.

The event started early with the first batch of athletes setting off at 8:10am. There were two main races for younger participants. The kids race for 8-9 and 10-11 year olds consisted of a 200m swim and a 1km run; while the youth race for 12-13 and 14-15 year olds consisted of a 400m swim and 3km run.

It was a tough race with many participants from local and international schools across Singapore competing. Overall, our sibling athletes were very happy with their new and faster records (see a snapshot below). Congratulations Baberon family on a job very well done.
