Join us in congratulating our Husky athletes and coaches on a great second season of competitive sports. Season 2 saw 4 teams competing over at TK, and our basketball and football teams placing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Lakeside had 16 teams competing in a range of sports this season, with eight teams placing in the top three in their division, and these four teams securing gold to come in in first place: U12 Boys basketball (Coach Greg Haines), U14 Girls Volleyball (Coach Jon Naylar), U16 Boys Basketball A (Coach Rachel Wheeler) and U16 Boys Basketball B (Coach Robert Campbell). Lakeside was also delighted to co-host the U11 Boys Division 2 Football finals on 18 February. The finals saw teams from 8 schools competing to a crowded field full of parent supporters. Everyone is looking forward to keeping the high energy momentum going for a great third season. Go Huskies!
