TK becomes an African savannah

The Circle of Life took over TK on 22 November when grade 3 students and their teachers surprised the TK community with a flash mob during recess. The basketball court came alive and turned into an African savannah. “Lions”, “zebras”, “warthogs” and even “gazelles” could be found dancing and singing “Circle of Life”, a classic song from the Lion King animated film.

The flash dance, which involved choral work, choreography and mask design, was the result of a project grade 3 students had worked on for 8 weeks during CCA arts. It was indeed a spectacle to behold - with full blown animal madness. Rawwrrr!
