We celebrated our Husky team players’ achievements during prize giving ceremonies from 14 to 20 November. Our 11U boys basketball team remained unbeaten all season in division 3 so come to the finals, they were bumped up to division 2 where they would face more challenging opposition. After beating every team in the division 2 finals, they were awarded the prestigious honour of division 2 gold medalists. Hopefully we will see more successes in 12U basketball in season 2.

On 11-12 November, the inaugural ACSIS golf tournament was held at Batam with one of our players, Emil Thorling, winning gold in the 12-14U category. A super result in his first school tournament! We may see a world champion in the making.

A special mention needs to go to the coaches and managers who spent many hours training and attending games especially when travelling away, often not getting back to CIS until after 7pm. The sports department salutes you for your commitment and energy. Your words of wisdom and the passion in your messages inspired us all at the prize-giving. Special thanks to all the supportive parents who attended as many games as possible and always displaying that Husky pride!
