The excursion to Chiang Mai provided CIS Grade 8 students with a unique opportunity to step outside the classroom and engage with real-world learning experiences that brought their studies to life. Guided by experienced educators and local experts, students delved into a diverse range of activities and excursions that immersed them in the beauty and richness of Thai culture.

One of the highlights of the Chiang Mai excursion was the chance to explore the city's rich historical and cultural landmarks, including iconic temples such as Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang, and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Through guided tours and interactive sessions, students gained insights into the significance of these architectural marvels and their role in Thai religious and cultural life.

Moreover, the excursion provided students with opportunities to engage in meaningful community service projects that made a positive impact on the local community. Whether volunteering at a local school, participating in environmental conservation efforts, or interacting with residents at a cultural exchange center, students embraced the spirit of service and citizenship, fostering empathy, compassion, and cross-cultural understanding.

Beyond cultural immersion and community service, the Chiang Mai excursion also offered students opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery. Through challenging outdoor activities such as trekking in the lush jungles of Doi Inthanon National Park, zip-lining through the treetops, and bamboo rafting down serene rivers, students pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones, developed resilience, and built confidence in their abilities.
