CIS’ annual Secondary talent show, BeatFreaked, on 13 November, provided Secondary students with an opportunity to come together and share their talents. There were more than 15 performances and the David Foster Theatre was packed with people who came out in support. Both students and teachers performed, showcasing a great variety of talents, from singing to unicycling, dancing to piano playing, with a special lip sync performance by Mr. Radojkovich and Mr. Little towards the end.

The performances were great! This year’s BeatFreaked saw many more participants who were eager to show their unique talents to the CIS community. One of the performers, CIS’ star drummer, Carles said “I have been at CIS since Grade 9. This year was very special for me as it was my last time performing at BeatFreaked.”

It was not just the number of performers, but the quality of their performance on stage that made this evening so special. Regardless of the talent or experience level, every performer was encouraged and welcomed by an enthusiastic and supportive audience, who made them feel immediately at ease.

This year’s BeatFreaked talent show was a very special evening, where students were given a chance to express themselves in front of their peers on the CIS’ main stage. Both the audience and performers are already looking forward to next year’s event.
